Mallow, Swamp Rose (Hibiscus moscheutos) is a native shrub to Native America. Found in wetlands and moist locations. Borders of ponds, ditches and wetlands. Sun to light shade. Striking large flowers (3-4”), cream to pinkish in color with dark red centers.

Mallow and swamp Rose (Hibiscus moscheutos) are often used in stream and river bank restoration for their quick-growing, tenacious root systems. They are also a pollinator favorite for native bees and butterflies.
